Hi. I got this from another tutorial. On your transparency under Diffuse, I refrain from using white (value: 255) because it makes my model invisible which posts some problem during modelling. what the tutorial suggested was to make it grayish to represent transparency yet visible and then click on the material box beside it and use TexAColor. Here you can use pure white if you desire 100% transparency.
